Wat Huay Prachan School

Wat Huay Prachan School is located in the Uthai Thani Province (300 kilometres northwest of Bangkok) in a rural region where rice is the principle source of revenue for most families.
The bathroom facilities in this small school, which accommodates 80 students, dated back to 1920.
Thanks to the Jan & Oscar Foundation, a new building housing eight toilets and two shower rooms was constructed. A large communal washbasin was also restored which has considerably improved the hygiene of the students as they can now wash their hands before eating and brush their teeth afterwards.
